Élodie conducted her PhD at the University of Paris North. Her doctoral work was followed up by postdoctoral positions at the Queen Mary University of London and the ETH Zurich where, funded by 3 independent career grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF fellowships for Prospective / Advanced Researchers, Ambizione fellowship), she initiated her research program. In 2019, Élodie became an Associate Professor and is leading the Behavioural Ecology Group of the Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen.
