Sexual and sexist violence
If you are a victim or a witness of sexual and/or sexist violence, here are some resources you can use, compiled by the Working Group for Equal Treatment Issues (Arbeitskreis für Gleichbehandlungsfragen, AKGleich - website in German with brochures in English).
The AKGleich can offer you advice and support if you face harassment (sexual and non-sexual) and/or discrimininations. All cases are treated confidentially and will only be forwarded to the responsible bodies of the University of Vienna if the persons affected have given their consent.
It is a legal duty of your superior(s), your teacher(s) and the university management to keep you safe and take care of your welfare at the University of Vienna and in all related activities (e.g., field work, conferences, social events).
