Inclusivity Subgroup

Our mission statement:

The Inclusivity Subgroup is dedicated to creating a space where sexgender diverse people feel truly welcomed and supported within our Women in Biology community.

We recognise that diversity strengthens and enriches WoBio, as we work towards the common goal of overcoming challenges due to sexgender discrimination in science. At the same time, we acknowledge the importance of intersectionality and strive to understand how overlapping identities shape the experiences of sexgender diverse communities in scientific fields. We are committed to making meaningful changes to ensure all members of these communities feel genuinely safe and valued, beyond symbolic gestures.
