We are excited to announce our next WoBio Role Models Seminar with Laura Nuño de la Rosa!
Laura Nuño de la Rosa is a philosopher of science specializing in the history and philosophy of biology. She holds a degree in Humanities, a master's in Biophysics, and a PhD in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has been a lecturer and researcher at the Konrad Lorenz Institute in Vienna, the University of the Basque Country, and the Complutense University of Madrid. She is currently a tenured scientist at the Institute of Philosophy of the Spanish National Research Council. Her work integrates the history and philosophy of evolutionary biology with the analysis of the social implications of the biomedical sciences.
